CARING FOR YOUR JEWELRY
The key to remember is: Last On, First Off. That is, your jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.
Treat your jewelry by Crow Steals Fire the same way you treat other fine jewelry. Please remove it when sleeping, and don't shower while wearing it. To reduce oxidation (darkening) in your sterling silver, copper, and jeweler's brass pieces, I recommend storing your jewelry in a quality jewelry box with anti-tarnish velvet or in resealable plastic bags to limit exposure to air when not in use.
ABOUT COPPER JEWELRY
I consider copper to be a very organic metal in that it reacts to the air and changes over time. This is called oxidation and is absolutely one of the beauties of copper. How fast your copper jewelry oxidizes or if it will color your skin depends on your body chemistry and the environment. (I wear copper jewelry all the time and have never had any issues.) Let your piece age and change or polish it back to the original, raw shine with a jeweler's polishing cloth.
